Hi all,
though i would share, Had my first fall today. i left my house about 8ish this morning to get a ride in before work, thought that it was cold but the sun was shinning so ice would be there but it should be o.k. anyway about 30min into the ride i come to the A23 and go 270 degrees round a roundabout to join the slip road to go south. get round the bout and the slip road is a slight bend to the left, i start to accelerate and as far as i remember after a second or so i am on my arse tarmac surfing watching my bike on its side spinning away from me. i end up in the muddy crap at the side of the road. not hurt at all apart from my pride! think i was going 15-20 mph. get my bike up with the help of some following car drivers and get it to the side of the road. i hope the reason was the ice, but think me accelerating while the bike was still lent over a bit didn't help.
Anyway lesson has been learned!! damage to my textiles is small only a centemetre hole in my trousers. so glad i always wear them!!! the bike is a little different, need new bars, left fotpeg, mirror and a bent centre stand lever! think i was lucky overall, and very glad i bought a cheap bike before i got a sports 600!!! Laughing
managed to ride it the 10 miles to my work. with my left foot on the rear pillon peg. would have got the AA out or something but i haven't got the membership yet Confused
sorry for the long post just had to share and get some opinions on why it happened!

As long as you are ok, the rest can all be sorted. Def. good its only on a cheap bike than a pride and joy. Keep learning! Don't feel to bad, its just one of those things. Mine is being fixed wednesday, I'm missing it already, only been 3 days.
