Been trying to figure this one out for days, but I can't find any useful info:
Is it ok to wire up two 12V sealed lead acid batteries of different capacities (amp hours) in parallel and both use and charge them as a single unit?

Not sure. I would have thought using batteries in paralell would work ok. They use a big line of batteries in coaches and buses.
Not sure about the capacities though?? I know when you charge batteries in series (like in a radio controlled car) they only go up to the level of the lowest capacity cell in the pack.
What are you trying to do? ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”
I did the 2010 Round Britain Rally on my 350 Bullet. 89 landmarks, 3 months, 9,500 miles. |
