Maybe your carb floats are sticking the needle closed, so when you shake the bike from side to side it frees them up. ____________________ DNA50 (sorry) ->> TZR125l >> GPZ500S |

Yep, sticky floats or a loose wire somewhere. I had a problem with a GPZ500 that wouldn't start unless you smacked it firmly on the saddle.
