Hiya,
Recently my 600 Bandit has started to develop a problem with the keyhole. It has a variation of positions to lock/unlock it and at first had a slight knack to using it. However now it seems to be a lot worse and is a real pain to turn the key sometimes! Anyone else have this problem? or any suggestions to fix it?

Many Thanks

Hi

Got exactly the same problem on my 95 Gixxer.

have been holding off replacing the complete lock as I have one key fits everything at the moment.

Does anyone know whether you can recode the seat lock and petrol cap lock to suit a new ignition barrel.

I guess you would have the same isue on a bandit should you decide to renew the ign lock.

I will check back to this post to see if anyone knows what can be done.

Patto

I have the same thing on my SV, I sloshed a bit of WD40 into it and it seemed to help a bit. Pushing the key very slightly away from you when turning it seems to help too.
