I know there are loads of threads on here about this, i was in the same situation and decided to get a 600 as for the same price of a good 400 you can get a good 600 so why not? Obviously the insurance will be high but all you need is to derestrict the 600 and you've got the bike you always wanted as long as you've got the restriction certificate and don't get caught above 110mph you should be alright |

Yours for just £1200 ono, just had oodles of work done to it. ____________________ China traffic/travel bike vid - When I make a sweeping statement, please add the word 'statistically' in to the sentence before you bitch...

Actually Ste, this is not so true these days, with my quote with Motorcycle Direct I am with "AXA-Young riders, restricted scheme". Which basically means I got a low premium because my bike is restricted to 33BHP.
Bennetts also offered me the reduced restricted scheme.
This might also answer why my insurance is only £300 TPFT. ____________________ Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it. If they're offering a discount for it being restricted then I can see them starting paying more attention to the bike actually being restricted. |

Yes, of course, which is a downside. However if it means cheaper premiums I guess that is a slight improvement. ____________________ Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it.
