Click link - https://www.lidl.co.uk/gb/index.nsf/pages/c.o.oow.20050414.index
Available from Thursday 14 April 05.
I know there are people on here who think Aldi/Lidl/Netto are for chavs/pikeys.
However, there also appears to be a few people just getting into bikes for their CBT/test or are strapped for cash who might like the idea of some cheap gear to get started. The gear is from Germany so where needed is TUV rated (like BS rating) so if shouldn't just fall apart.
Anyhow, you pays your money, you make the choice.

Cool
Oh and yes, lidl is the smelliest, nastiest, grubby, shoody place I have ever been in. I honestly wouldn't be shocked if I seen cockroaches in that place.
Good to know though. Might even consider the rain suit as I'm after one. |

Look on the Lidl site, they have a tank bag for £5.99.
Not sure how it would hold up though. |

Got a tank bag, disc lock (was going to get two but some woman was asking where they were after they'd all sold out so I gave her one), 2 rider - pillion communicators and a set of maps. The tank bag seems great so far. The maps look good, maybe a bit easy to rip. But waterproof Not played with the other bits yet. |

The intercom thing seems alright. Just trying it at home now. Sounds like it will do the job though Overall really impressed with the stuff I picked up. If only they were selling full leathers. Still need kit for my girlfriend. |

I saw that MCN were also mentioning this (see here).
So I suspect they'll all be sold out before I can get there!
Was interested in the intercom, socks and kidney belt
Don't mind spending a few pennies to see if they work and I can use them. When they wear out/break then I could justify more expensive stuff ____________________ ...and the whirlwind is in the thorn trees, it's hard for thee to kick against the pricks...

No. It's just for rider to pillion. No radios involved.
Time to go out for a ride somewhere I think. Not really the best weather for it though. Need to look for cheapish leathers and some boots that have very wide leg bits to them... |

Just been fiddling with it and it doesnt seem too bad i havent tried it out on the road yet, but it seems pretty good.
Picture below as i didnt want to clog up the server with the oversized pic
https://img131.echo.cx/img131/2766/dvc002998jw.jpg
Ok you get...
2 earpieces with a microphone connected to them
(left and right on the picture)
1 Main unit to with volume controls for both pillion and rider seperately
(in the middle on the picture)
Main unit runs on two AAA batteries (not supplied)
2 wind bafflers for the microphone ends
(on the ends of the microphones in the pic but you put them on yourself)
1 external cable for attatching your MP3 / CD player / Radio into from the headphone output on your device to the input on the main unit
(at the bottom on the picture)
1 brief instruction manual that explains how to attatch your device etc and how to use
(top on the picture) ____________________ CBT Aug '03 ... Gilera GSM 50 ... Honda NSR 125 Aug '04 ...
