My RX does the exact same unless I rev the nuts out of my 5th gear. Can't help you really but maybe there is someone who can.

Hi, it is a sign that your engine is lacking power.
All down to gear ratios really as in 5th it is easier for your engine to pull your weigh, rather than in 6th gear.
There are a number of options, your exhaust could be clogged up with carbon, your engine could be worn or you could simply be overweight
When was the bike last serviced?
