I've just bought Dainese. IMO they are worth the extra money. Cheap leathers may not hold well in an accident and i would rather pay that little bit more for the extra quality. I suppose you should get the best to what you can afford.
Get your size and check eBay. They will probably have what your looking for at about 1/4 of the price. |

The ones that fit the best with enough quality not to fall apart with the first touch to tarmac.
Personally i brought Richa trousers, nice fit and not killa on the price, and seem solidly made. each to there own.
Some people who have crashed in leather should be able to recommend real world expectations of quality.

Hell yes, this is right on the money! How the hell will you repair/replace the bike, when your dead?!
Get the best you can afford, not after budgeting for the bike, etc, but first of all.
Also, big thought here, get the riding gear before you get a bike (if buying for the first time) as you will end up blowing your wadge on the bike and then won't want to wait until you can afford the gear. You will say things like "I'll take it ewasy until I get leathers"! don't even risk it. Most people crash (if they are going to by themselves) in the first year of riding. You will hurt yourself. also, no matter how careful you are, joy riders won't give a toss about avoiding you just because you are wearing jeans, that's your fault for not getting them.
Get the gear first, then get a bike you can afford, or start saving for one.
Sorry about the long post, but lots of people get this wrong, I did! Don't go collecting scars, they might be cool in the pub, but they ain't cool in the hospital! ____________________ TL1000R Parts For Sale! |
