Well, some little cunt has nicked my bike. Mad Hence the reason im at home now, and not at work.

It was parked up at work and locked onto a post, about 20 metres away from where im working, and i never heared shit! Boltcroped the lock and pushed it away im guessing.

So, im now bikeless, and still paying the fucking thing off. Now, if by any chance the knob that nicked it is reading this (Doubt they can work a microwave, let alone a PC) - When i get hold of you, Im gonna rip you limb from limb.

Not Fucking Happy. Mad Evil or Very Mad

Chances are you'll get it back. Little turds can't keep their fingers off a 125 dirt bike but they usually get bored with them/run out of petrol after a while. Just hope they haven't done too much damage.

Worth claiming off your insurance?

The only chance i have at getting it back in one peice, is if my sisters boyfriend knows who nicked it. He thinks it could be someone he knows, or his mates. (A group of about 20+ that sit on the local pub corner every night with there bottles of cider i guess).

The reason he thinks it was this guy, is because he is a known bike theif, and has just started at the place i work.

He will have seen it there every morning, and knows its quiet on the night (Or enough noise to not be noticed while we are working, loading the lorry's up.), so if its anyone, it'll be this tosser!

Not getting my hopes up though... Neutral

As far as my insurance company are concerned im not insured. If you read my other thread you will know why. They wont give me my money back, or give me the months insurance i paid for.

Looks like i'll be bearing the brunt of this unless i get it back..

If i do get it back, i will fix whatever needs doing then i will be selling it. Gonna book my theory and get my test done, and when i can afford it, a new bike (With lots of security to go with it).

Im gutted tbh, now i have to get a lift in a cage to work until i get myself a new bike, thats the worst part as far as im concerned. Also not been able to "Go for a blast" whenever i feel like it is gonna piss me off. Sad Crying or Very sad

Your insurance should cover it if you have 3rd party fire & theft or above cover. You could try the companies insurance also possibly if yours are not playing ball, especially if they employed they theving bastard who nicked it.

Obiously you have already told the police about this. They are pretty good about recovering stolen goods (provided you pay their recovery fee Rolling Eyes )

Good luck getting it back Thumbs Up

My DT got stolen from the middle of Birmingham City Centre at lunchtime on a Tuesday. I got of it and went to the cash point, when I got back 3 mins later, it had gone. The police never found it despite me calling them straight away & it also being spotted on fields in Kingstanding. Usless t*ssers.

Some one mentioned it was a 125 off roader type thing?
This is one of the reasons I wont buy an off road style bike. Makes you a prime target for the local youth wanting some thing to raz about the field on.
Bit of a bugger really, I would like to get a supermoto type thing for blasting around town local.

I reckon, from the info you have given that your new pikey scroat of a colleague, if he didn't actually steal it knows who did - probably gave them the info.

The 'proper' way of dealing with this is to tell the police that you suspect it was the colleague as he was 'acting suspiciously' around your bike a few days ago. If he is a known bike thief then the police will know about him and hopefully pull him in for questioning. If, however the police can't be bothered then you should interrogate him - in a friendly. we are work colleagues approach. When talking to him look for any change in his demeanour or character when he answers your questions. Ask the same question - "Do you know who stole my bike" at least twice & see if there is any marked changed in his behaviour, avoiding eye contact, crossed or flailing arms, licking his lips, playing with his ears or hair. All these are giveaway signs that someone's lying.

You could report the incident to your boss and tell him that he employs a bike thief.

sorry to hear that mate, sickens me everytime i hear it. Evil or Very Mad

I've got a 125 trailbike and although i've got two big chains around it, another through the rear wheel, 2 disc locks, a cover and a personal attack alarm on the cover and a security light overlooking i still can't sleep at night because i know some young hopeful joyrider and his crew will come for it as it's a 125, and a trail bike..

I had my heart set on a DR350 but i'm swayed otherwise now just for the fact it will be attempted to be nicked, hence why i'm going for a cheap bigger bike, a CB-1

If you find them break every bone in their body, if they have no respect your anyones possesion nevermind their valued tool to get to work and back to earn their living then they deserve to be crippled IMO, scum f*cks..

I had a bike stolen once, ridden through fields, then taken apart and destroyed.. for one nights 'fun' by wee neds.. Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

Bump....

Well, my dads had a look at the CCTV at work, and we have got something on there.

Looks like a car came in at about 10:30 and hid in the corner, waited a bit till we got working, then one of em took the bike out at around 11:15 ish.

Was a black fiesta type car, couldnt see who was in it though as its too dark. Apparently they got the bike started at work, which means they must have spent atleast 10 mins out there working on it.

Just wish i had gone out for a smoke earlier, might have caught the bastards in the act.

I believe its this kid who has just started at my work, if not atleast his mates. I have about 4 people watching this kids house, so if he has it, then he will be seen.

If it's been sold on already, i dont think i will have much chance of getting it back in one peice. Just gonna keep searching round the local places the tossers usually take bikes like mine and hope i get lucky and spot it.

If i dont get it back, i just hope its because the bastard riding it crashed into the back of a bus/lorry..

Until then though, im bikeless, in debt, and not in a good mood.

Sad

My RS 125 was stolen from outside my girlfriends living room window even with a car parked in the drive, fucking little never worked for anything in there life bastards.

I got it back 11 days later and it wasnt that badly damaged. The mirrors were missing and obviously the steering lock and ignition was damage, also the vin tag was gone.

When it was recovered it was taken to a local vehicle recovery compound,so when i reieved a phone call from the police saying it wa there i phoned them up. They asked for my reg so i gave it them and they say that the vehicle wasn't there. I told them the police said it was so i went down to look. I saw my bike there and it had a different reg plate on it that we later found out was to a vauxhall corsa.

The little fucking theifs will probably dump it somewhere when its out of petrol and if your lucky they wont put a match to it.

ANYWAY i was lucky with my bike after it being gone for 11 days HOPEFULLY mate you'll get it back in not so bad condtion like me

If you've got TPFT, it is sometimes better if they do put a lit match in the tank and run away. Better to get a new bike than whatever is left of yours once they've crashed it and ragged it to death.

Yes, very.

As far as im concerned, the coppers are a bunch of useless cunts who only bother if they can make some money out of it (IE: speeding tickets ect ect) Still, i rang them up and let them know it was nicked, but nothing will come of it.

I have more chance of getting my bike back then the coppers ever will, simply because me and my old man know just about everyone in my area, so i have people looking out for it.

I have people from as far as the next 3 estates looking out for it - So if its about, it will be seen, just stopping the fuckers which is the hard part (im sure a baseball bat/right hook to the chest will get em off it sharpish though.)

Im fuming, seriously - If i dont atleast get the bike back, then im paying for a bike i dont even own - Which is the worst part.

To say im pissed off is an understatement, once i find the fuckers they will be put into the boot of my old mans car and we will be "going for a little ride" to teach them a lesson. Evil or Very Mad
