Here's a couple of photo's of my very first bike. It's a Kawasaki GPX 250. Although it's an old(ish) bike, it's in pristine condition, both bodywork and engine wise.

To all you real 'Big Bikers', please don't laugh at my pride and joy. I'm only a small bloke, so anything bigger than this is almost impossible for me to hold up!

I can't ride it legally yet, because I haven't passed my Practical Test. That takes place on Tuesday 07/06/05 and I'm hoping I'll pass the test.

Can't wait to ride my Pride & Joy and join the biking community.

Wish me luck next Tuesday. Thumbs Up

Thanks for your compliment and good luck wish for my Practical Test, Chr!s. I must admit, I'm rather proud of the machine myself too.

To be honest, it's a real beast. It's in beautiful, pristine condition - both engine and bodywork - fully taxed and tested. And, for a 250cc machine, it seems extremely powerful and it goes like stink.

Not that I've ever ridden it before, you understand!!!!!

That does look brand new mate Thumbs Up
How is it in such good condition? Has it been restored. I dont think any of the 'bigger bikers' will say anything, im 15 and ride a battered old 175 offroad, and they seem to accept me....to a certain degree Laughing

looks very nice mate.. very nice indeed... dont worry about 'only' being on a 250.. i've got a 250 as a play thing and it'll keep up with most of my m8's on their 600's!

g/l on your test..

Thanks for the compliment.

It's a 1988 ('F' reg) GPX 250 with about 28K on the clock. As you can see from the photo's it's been extremely well looked after and the engine sounds like new.

I'm very proud to own the machine and can't wait to ride it 'for real'. From the brief experience I've had, the bike just want's to 'go'. Once it reaches about 55-60mph there seems to be a power band that just want's to open up further, and the bike becomes so lively. It's also very nippy around town and just so enjoyable to ride.

So I'm told - ahem!!!
