Re spray

Ok I'm looking at getting the ZXR sprayed.
This is Ric's but He said I should get it aswell.
Opinions?


(Don't say its a waste of money because that's not what I'm asking.)

It's a waste of money.

Personally, I would go for a race rep scheme, I would say Telefonica but thats for us Suzuki owners.

I quite like flip's ZXR colour, really nice red, and goes with the bike really well.

I think the purple is ok, but girly if you ask me though. I would much rather have something like black, or metallic blue, I reckon that would look ace. Your choice though mate.

If you plan on keeping your bike for several years, then go for it. If you plan on changing it in the near future then do nothing. Oddly enuff a standard bike will generally sell better, a respray looks like you have something to hide!

That said, I personally prefer a bike which doesnt look like all the rest. But then I also keep my bikes for 4 years + so dont need to worry about the sales pitch.

I intend to keep the bike for a long time yet, wanna hop from the zxr to a zx10r when the insurance is cheap enough so a few years yet.

The bike is already non-standard colour scheme so don't think it will matter that much value wise.

yeah all well and good, then some bugger goes and copies it! I have seen another three bikes that look SO SIMILAR to my paint job its untrue, and the amount of emails Ive had asking what design the headlight fairing is is untrue!
