Only a bit of blue smoke at start up? No leaks either.

if there is only a little at start then its probibly not burning gearbox oil.
how often do you usually top her up? and have you been riding in a different manner?

Assuming it's a stroker, are you talking about the seperate two-stroke oil tank or some sort of gearbox/rear drive oil level? I've no idea what an SH50 is Confused

If it's the two stroke tank then it needs topping up regularly, if it's the gearbox/rear drive then it needs sorting.

Its a Scooter 2 stroke and its the main oil feed to the engine Happily not the gearbox Smile Dont have to top it up daily but more like weekly and then only a small amount. The engine is pushed hard cos im a fat Bstard lol. Was not sure if this was normal for scooters.

2 strokes run total loss lubircation-the oil is squirted into the crankcase by a pump. This is becasue the piston itself helps to pump fuel into the cylinder, the crank case cant contain alot of oil so it need to be squirted in in small amouunts-hence the level dropping on the oil tank on your ped.

Ah gotchya. As bish says, it's designed to use the two stroke oil. Check the level regularly and keep it topped up - if it runs out then serious engine damage will ensue, and it could have you off if the engine locks up.
