Wotcha,
I'm off doing my CBT next week (mah knee is healed enough to use a gear change ), and one thing that I was told is that I needed to bring along some stirdy shoes, and trainers werent enough.
I popped into town and picked up some £10 walking books (not steel capped, got told they have toe choppingness effects), but I was wondering if the deep tread on the boots will make gear changing stuff difficult?
Ive been walking in them non stop, in an attempt to get some flexibility into them before Wed (blisters ), so I can actually feel hoe much pressure im putting on the gear change (at least upwards) and was wondering if there was anything else I should do?
cheers,
cabbage
P.S. - little rant - Why the hell does nowhere do CHEAP size 13 boots??? I'm having to wear there size 12's and boy is my big toe uncomfortable - pushed in towards my other toes, the joint is killing!!! Aaaaaarg
but still happy to be doing the CBT at last  ____________________ Ex-'96 Bandit 600S -> '99 Bandit 600 -> K7 V-Strom 650 |

Okay then thats a bit of a relief.
Hmm, a little nervious about the slow control stuff (falling over onto my bad knee, pleeeeease dont happen ), altho' I think I'll be fine on public roads, 'casue I'm doing my car test in a few weeks so I know all of that stuff.
I just want to do it now, not have a build up of another 4 days!!  ____________________ Ex-'96 Bandit 600S -> '99 Bandit 600 -> K7 V-Strom 650 |
