Cool bikes you had Thumbs Up . I heard Ducati needs valve adjustment every 10,000kms. Did yours also do this adjustment?
I see many Ducatis also in japan nowadays.

check of valves clearance and eventually valves clearance adjustment every 10.000 Km.

I change oil and filter every 5.000 Km too, because the city use (about 80%) of my bike, and I am extremely punctual with the maintainance prescribed by Ducati.

If you have cares of your bike, your bike doesn't betray you... never... Cool

Oh thanks for your reply. When you ask adjustment of valve clearance, the shop remove engine from bike and open it? Then it should be very expensive... I'm afraid I can't afford Ducati.
Second owner of your monster600 is very lucky person to get Ducati with good maintenance!
p.s. your english isn't poor at all

Remove engine from bike ?

No no no, mechanic just removes the valve cover (look at red arrows) for the check

Check & adjustment requires 25/30 minutes.

PS: I was M600's 3rd owner (from 15.400 to 70.000 Km in 4 years and 3 months), after me, other 2 owners! Shocked Shocked Shocked

Very impressed with the miles you have put on it! Did you add the 2nd disk brake? Didn't think the monster 600 came with double disks?

Yes, I did. Wink

It was a MotorQuality (Brembo distributor) Kit, with disk, caliper, steel line and PS19 pump instead of PS16.

Disks you can see in these pics were from a Ducati 998 with 1.000 Km.
