Depends on what you plan on doing with it, how much you have, what roads your useing (most of the time), if your going to tour, or do trackdays, all weather or 3 day a year blats, passengers? luggage????
Theres allot of reasons to go for one bike over another, you'll need to think about what your going to do with it.. ____________________ >RidingSkills<->Tech Tips<->MyBikes< |

Wouldn't be my first choice (but then soprts bike aren't my thing)
A zxr400 is actually very good general use bike, passenger seat isn't bad (good enough to do 400 miles in one go with no problem) takes a bit getting used to though (after a mates first long trip he was about ready to die, but has not problems now) crap luggage capacity though (a pair of sport panniers and a rucksac, tank bag if your brave, your ok if your going alone as it can go on the passenger seat)
yzf 600 (thunderace) is another excelent bike, not as sporty, maybe a bit more practical..
zzr600, another sports tourer, very comfy, carefull of the gearbox @40k easy going and easy to ride, not the fastest bike out but..
They all shift, zxr being the spotryest, the zzr is the best as far as touring goes (imo) and has hard luggage available.. the thundercat is afaik a bit of both..
Theres allot of bikes out there though, take your time, have a sit on some in showrooms, you might hate them instantly or fall in lurve..
Good luck ____________________ >RidingSkills<->Tech Tips<->MyBikes< |
