Got an onboard video of croft circuit (for the track guides section) but the video recorder will only write it to a DVD? How can I change it to an Mpeg for posting? I guessed Windows Movie Maker but was unsure?

Cheers WN, that seems to be doing the trick.

Does it usually take a long time? Mine's going very slow?

depends how big the file is, one trick i use is to copy the files to your hard disk first then read them from there as the acess speed will be quicker than it is trying to get it off the DVD

yeah you can load it up into movie maker then save it as a WMV and you can specify the size of the file you want to produce

ok, this is what i did, open the clips that you want and drag them into the timeline, then under "3. finish movie" click on "save to my computer" then name the file and where its to be saved. click next and it will give you the options, choose "best fit to file size" and stick 110 MB in there. click next and it will make the movie for you. try that out and see what results you get Thumbs Up

Cheers WN that seems to have done it, I'll up load it if I can.

Anyone feel free to modify it and add music etc as the sound keeps going off, it seems the the mic can't cope with 107db oumping out of the pipes.

I doubt you can attach to a post mate. Try uploading it to www.putfile.com instead and posting a link.

Arse. Use something like "ImTOO MPEG Encoder" (www.download.com I think is where I got it from) to resize the clip into a more manageable size.

Ah, but your 2MB will only be downstream, not upstream. So you're probably looking at more like 1MB upstream (which is still faster than my downstream!). You'll probably get an upload speed of around 70kbps I would guess, so 70k per second, probably means about 1MB a minute or so.... go and make a cuppa and check back in half an hour!
