erm..a few questions that will probably make me sound stupid

ok i have an rxs 100 and it is great!...but when you back off the throttle it makes popping noises...what are they? the engine runs great but makes these weird noises! and would the indicator lights come on but not flash because of a flat battery?

It's little bubbles popping caused by the amount of detergent used in modern fuels. They float down the exhuast & pop when they hit the sharp edge of the baffle...

All 4 indicators ain't flashing: bad ground or duff flasher unit.
Less than 4: blown bulb

the baffle has been cut down because it snapped off when i tried to remove it....i changed the indicators to some cool aftermarket ones but the origanals didnot flash either...so does that mean it would be the flasher unit?

On my NS125F the idicators stopped flashing and just stayed on and i fixed it by giving the battery a good charging overnight, give it a try, as for the popping thing i dont have a clue.
