Only a thought...
Think like this......50mm slack goes to 20mm when you sit on the bike...So 20mm slack goes to 0mm when you sit on the bike Now what happens when you go over a bump? Its only going to get tighter...Bent output shaft or snapped chain anyone.  ____________________ Andy Sez....

thanks for your help guys. Turns out when I thought it needed doing, it probably didnt! I had it on the paddock stand which would make it slack anyway, and I thought 20-25mm would be right - hence when it was more like 40-50mm, I thought it was too slack!
Anyway, Ive put it back to how it should be which turns out, its back to the original position! Lesson learnt!! lol
So yeah - 40-50mm like haynes say  |
