hiya my engine seems to be rattling on my nc30, it seems to be coming from the rear left cylinder, could this be the valve shims? if so what problems could this cause ??  |

Could be loads of things, you can use a long screwdriver to have a listen...
Shims or tappets is possible (what was it last done?) if this is the noise then its SERIOUS problems if you ignore it (engine rebuild + lots of money sort of problem)

If it's a rebuild that's needed you'll prolly find it cheaper to buy a replacement engine instead. Think a full gasket set alone is around the £200 from Honda.
I ended up replacing my engine as my old one developed a bottom end rattle. ____________________ aKa: Ducky |
