Hey everyone.

Yeah I came off my ER6f about a month ago. was pouring down with rain and she slip under my as i went round a corner, she hit a lamppost and a kurb(curb) and I sprained my ankle.

I didn't let my love for biking be put off by this. due to my injuries i bought a Honda Silverwing to get me by and loved it.

but I missed my gears so once my ankle was better I purchased a 2001 Honda Hornet 600, and here she it.

Lol it was considered a write off. I did have pictures but I've changed phones and forgot to port them.

If I remember correctly the front forks, headlight, and generator were really fucked. And some other parts but I can't remember. The recovery guy bought it off me for £700.

I'm sure I saw one on Autotrader like that a few months ago. Sold as a 'spares/repairs' and looked like somebody just ground off the headstock.

I've recently got back into bike after two years and got a 2001 hornet 600. Took it to Wales and found it to be way better for long distance than speed four was. Just wish tank range was better.

How have you found it so far?

It's great I love it. Compared to the Er6 it's a lot faster, it really comes into itself one you get to the mid to high revs.

But I agree about the the tank. Should be bigger.
