alryt everyone. ive got my a2? restricted lisence course on thursday. im not too worried about it but im just wondering what to expect and what the routine is like.is it similar to a car test at all and are they pretty harsh? ive got a days roadrider on wed so hopefully thatl come in handy.

Your lesson will definetely come in handy!!

Test will consist of the usual routine, most liekly what will go on in your lesson - General road riding, checking observations, hazard awareness, emergency stop, riding off from a standstill, perhaps hill start, u-turn etc.

I'll assume you have a 125, so if the examiner thinks you have areas to improve on, then go out and pratise them. Thumbs Up

main difference is in a car you dont have to check your blind spots to pass but on a bike you do.

The other thing that my instructor got me to do was you slow down for square turns instead of smooth lines maintaining speed. I dont think this is a very good idea in reality but I did it as i thought it might help me pass.

no way! i got mine this thusday aswell!! hope it goes well for you and we both pass!lol, how much training you had already?how long have you been on l-plates? ive been riding over a year now and have/had 2 days training (2nd say tomorrow)

cheers bud, good luck to u to. ive got a tzr 50 and a mito 125.
ive been riding since i was 16 and im now 18 and also have good motocross experience. my mates and family always say how i do everything properly on the road but im hoping i havent picked up any bad habits. fingers crossed, ive got the lesson 2mo!

had my first days training today, went pretty well and as i expected ive picked up a few bad habits over the years.
ive got the morning to practice and then test is at 2:30. wasnt a big fan of the cg 125 but its not too bad. fingers crossed il do alright!
