Rear brake lever/pedal

Coming home on the dual carriageway the other night, pressed the rear brake lever, and it didnt come straight back up immediately as per usual?

Could this be a sign my brakes need changing?

Maybe more likely that you've got a fluid leak and you've emptied the reservoir. You really should spot that kind of thing though

Brakes are fine though, there's been no change there, just the speed in which the pedal comes back up?

Crud in the pedal pivot I guess - remove, clean and re-grease.
