Right for those of us that dont live in the area or even the same country can someone describe this Bioxhill.
Numerous posts refer to meeting there for a ride out and every second post has something about riding past it.
So is this actually a hill or is it a cafe or something .
Any piccies of this joint would be greatly appreciated.

it's just a roadside car park with a sort of cafe that serve's big burgers with tea and coffee. you should be able to find pics in the photo section. its most well known southern england bike meet place in britain. boxhill the meeting place is sitting next to the bottom of the slope of Boxhill itself which is pretty darn big, maybe something in the region of being 100-200 metres high.

Don't go if you live far and have a 125, you wont fit in. I realised this last summer when me Ric and Claud went for a stint from the ace, only to realise that it makes you look so small if you don't have anything other than a GixxzzzxxxxrRRRRRR fivefouuuzzaaand, or a ducati or anything italian.

It's quite an Okayish ride, just on the south side of the M25, but it's a bit too far for a carpark! lol.

It makes for a good rendezvous point for anybody heading south to brighton, but if you live in the midlands, it really doesn't make sense just go there and check it out. The place is dead in winter!

ive been once (unfortantly wish i had gone more) was my first ride out and went with Davo and White Noise, was on my RS125 with L-Plates (at the time, got license now)

felt quite welcome there, no one really looked down on me even though 125 with L's, was loads of nice bikes (including a GSXR1000K5 all black when they had just come out at time)

would recommend it! doesnt matter what you ride aslong as you dont act like a tw*t or anything Thumbs Up

It's a good place to go and gawp at what every body else has got, or to pose if you have what everyone else wants Laughing

But it is only a car park with a cafe and outside seating with resonable surroundings.
Like the Ace, it trades on the 60's when the curving road from the top, at Boxhill village, was the start point of an incredibly windy race track (on public roads) down to the cafe at the bottom. The villagers got upset and speed bumps went in.
However, like the Ace again, the name and meeting point stuck. It gets very busy in summer with hundreds of bikes there, this time of year you'd be lucky to see a dozen bikes.
