Guess I'm officially a wimp.
Booked my bike in for it's first service next week and I've asked them to put some heated grips on it at the same time!

You're a wimp because you're paying someone to put heated grips on .
I've found inner gloves with my normal medium thickness winter gloves has worked fine so far for me this year. |

Expect to pay between £30 - £50 per hour labour for a garage to do work.
Even on overtime that's way more than my hourly rate unfortunately, though I appreciate not the same for everyone.
Heated grips /should/ be easy to fit, <shrugs> it's your money though .
And, yea andy, have been wearing a fleece the wrong way around (so that collar is over neck and doesn't bunch at back) and a bigger jumper ontop, then bike jacket over that, as well as face mask, trousers etc.
Fine for sustained decent motorway speeds. |

I had koso ones on my dt125 (till i cut em off last night)
They killed my battery (evan tho it was wired into the ignition so only comes on when the bikes on)
they only warmed up one section, not the whole grip
and they were just shit.
hope your getting decent ones like oxford ones ____________________ - Typhoon ?0 - Yamaha DT125R - Aprilia SR125 - Yamaha DT125R - Honda Hornet 600 - |

I accidentally endo'd my bike today because i could barely feel the brake lever. Not really a problem today, but tomorrow there might be wet leaves under the wheel. Being able to feel your fingers really is a great safety advantage |
