If we are just local, popping into town we just carry them with us but if we go away we lock them up with the bikes through and under the seats |

Ah but we dont use the manufacturers cable we use some strong stainless steel 10mm plastic coated wire as used in yachting rigging done specially for us by a rigger, you wont be cutting that with a pair of normal pliers or boltcutters, apparently they use a special steel cutting saw! |

Carry it by the face protector. Any little chavs give me any aggro, and the rim at the back of my helmet will have an unfortunate collision with their nose. Simple

Carry it with the strap fastened, holding the strap
Leave my gloves, neckwarmer etc in it too.
The NSR also has a helmet lock which is a decent design (wouldn't be able to open it), and I used to hang the caberg on it as it had rings on the strap for that purpose. The KBC is more expensive though, and doesn't have the ring, so I can't hang it on there any more. I was also worried about passing people thinking it was funny to tamper with it (never happened but it worried me).

I cable lock it to my bike, just thread the cable lock through it and through the brake discs. Never a had a problem. I sometimes leave my gloves in there. I usually park my bike in a parking area hidden from most people. If Im only stopping for 10 mins or so I'll bring it with me. ____________________ Honda MBX50 | Yamaha RD125LC | Suzuki RG125F Lucky Strike | Suzuki GSF600S

You can fit a loaf of bread, a bag of onions, a packet of biscuits and a box of teabags in there if you're crafty. At least you could last time I tried. There's no way I'm leaving a helmet with my bike for some scrote to try and steal/ kick/ piss in. ____________________ I must not be a troll...

I carry mine all the time, been to a few places and been asked to give it them, like the cinema and Tesco, they say they'l keep it 'safe' but balls to that, dont let anyone touch my lid, and if im out i never let it out of my sight.
Might not save your life if some dumb clot drops it.
