Hello peeps!

I've recently passed my motorcycle cat A test and looking at practising to take a pillion.

I've looked up some videos (along with the pillion) and checked the manual.

I need to adjust the rear suspension to account for the extra weight. Unfortunatly the manual does not give any indication to what you should set it as.

It can go between 1-8 with the default recomendation as two, both me & the pillion weigh 80KG each, what setting should I have it on?

Thank you

It's a Honda CB300R 2019 model

Sit on the bike on your own, look at something in the rear view mirrors. Sit your pillion on after adjusting, try and get it so you can see the same view in the mirrors. You're just trying to keep the bike the same level as when you're on your own.

Good advice but chock the side stand to near upright with both feet on the pegs and then with 4 feet on the pegs.
Also the back tyre may need 46 psi or more.

Just a musing...

Does anyone ever adjust the tyre pressures of the car when more than two passengers and or some luggage is being carried? 🤔

No fukir really cares. 🤣

Only if I'm going on a long run (back to Cornwall for example) would I bother checking the tyre pressures.
