I rated your post as funny. Funny because your bike got nicked and you're sitting here posting about it online when anyone else would be out looking for it Thumbs Up Laughing

That's dark. You seem calm which is good. Was there anything different on it? Like custom paint?

Made me double check the bike outside.

I would have pursued if I had a car. The cunt wasn't even wearing a helmet and by the time I looked out the window, the bike had already been wheeled down the end of my road. I didn't see them doing this btw, or I would have been running outside...I woke up to the sound of my bike starting down the road, and away he went, he nearly fell off, he clearly couldn't handle a bike that size Evil or Very Mad

Spoken to police today, no sign of it yet. Might have to go back on the old NSR for a while Confused

Sparky - I usually keep it in the garage but I left it on the drive with the steering wheel lock on as there was loads of shit in front of the garage Sad

My bad, but I guess I'll learn.

Sparky, I have no idea how they got the steering wheel lock off, thats all I had on, I never bothered with locks as never had problems before, and usually kept in garage. But steering wheel lock doesn't stop anything (as you all probably know) so if you haven't got decent locks / a garage don't think it won't happen to you, because thats what I thought and it just did.

If anyone ever thinks, "Ah, I can't be fucked to put it in the garage..." for whatever reason, then just do it. Not worth the risk.

I still cant believe how calm you appear about all this...

and why you didnt leg it down there after them, and at least try and give chase?

If that was my bike i would be out there like a flash and run after them as far as i can...

Yes i know its a bike, but if they are only little scrotes, the thought of someone actually chasing them, and the fact they cant actually ride it properly, might scare them enough so they just ditch it.

Man i would be out 24/7 looking everywhere around i could think.

Odds are its down in a ditch / bush at the bottom of your road.

If i was you, i would take a 10minute walk around your area, odds are if its going to be found, itll be found local.

I'd be out looking for it, if he couldn't handle it on your road what's the chances he's crashed it somewhere else?

Obviously not a pro either, probably dumped in some back alley.

You can only hope they came off scraped all their skin off and slid into a pool of vinigar.. then were set on fire.

Unfortunately steering lock isn't enough Sad I have varying degrees of security depending on dodgeyness of the area

Min = griplock + alarm

Max = griplock + alarm + shackle lock + chain lock + disc lock + cover!

When i'd stay at my girlfriends @uni i considered takeing the tank off and bringing it indoors Laughing

Does your insurance cover you if the bike is on the drive...not in the garage?

Check the small print.
