... with my SV650s and it's new CCC can.
Last week I made the decision to get a can from CCC, the £110 one.
Not being the most mechanically minded person you're ever likely to meet, I was a bit nervous, especially the cutting bit.
09:00am Off to get a tape measure and a hacksaw (w/extra blades).
10:00am Started cutting.
10:30am Cigarette break, sweating and sure it would take a week.
11:00am We have lift off, or more precisely drop off - The can that is.
12:00pm New can fitted.
Went for a ride, OH YES .
16:00 Got home, took the exhaust off and got out the drill.
16:30 The baffle is finally removed.
Went for a ride, YES,YES OH MY GOD
Went through a tunnel and well, let's just say I needed a tissue
The best bit is when you overrun and you get that great POPPING noise.
So, yes I am definitely in love with race cans, and once my Bandit is repaired will be experiencing the same again.
