Valentines days... Women?

Well, running from this thread (and ive been thinking about posting this since the other day).

I had a conversation with the missus about valentines day, and it basically seemed a 'what was i getting her','where was i taking her' etc type convo.

And it seems to me that valentines days expectations are like sex.

If a man does all the work in bed, one will defo cum and the other might.
If a woman did ALL the work in bed, i doubt highly that either would cum.

A man is expected to be good and is whinged at when not, a woman is expected to be shite and is praised when not.

Same with valentines, the guy is expected to do something completely romantic and thoughtful. Whats the girl expected to do?

So to this end, has anyones missus actually done something big for them?

I made my boyfriend a box from scratch. With a lid that didn't quite work. And covered it in red paper. Wrote many of our memories on little bits of paper and put them in the box. Also wrote him a letter explaining that the whole idea was a bit gay.

He didn't get me anything, and I didn't want it. Valentine's Day is bullshit if you just go out and buy something, it's about celebrating your love, although your posts make you seem incapable of loving a woman let alone liking them, so unless that's just your online persona, tell her you don't believe in the idea of using the 14th to reflect on your relationship, and that you take her out and buy her things all through the year, so what's gonna different about Tuesday?

Yes bandit i can love, but i can also resent.

And for my gf of only a month (otherwise i would have got her a tv and a freeview box or at least a tv but its too soon) i got her a new mouse so she can play the game i bought her properly, and the green mile book because she said shed been meaning to read it.

I'll also cook her dinner with wine etc, even though i feel like shit.

My point is its expected.

I dont expect her to make me dinner or shit for valentines day. Why do women.

It just seems expected for women to do all the work.

And also bandit, EVERY woman ive slept with (and theres been a few) when on top get tired within about a minute and give up. Meaning i have to do all the work from underneath.
In fact asides from on top, theres not a single position i can think of which would work without the man doing everything, and yet as ive said, even if they are ontop, its usually quicker and far better if i work not them.

And that point has been agreed by a hell of a lot of them aswell.

Just as a point, i do pretty much all the cooking, she usually stays at mine, i do her favours (like we are sharing a textbook i bought for a module etc).

And most of the girls ive shagged have happily got on top, but just sat there and looked confused.

In fact i remember one distinctly just sat. I had my head wedged up on a slide and my feet in mid air so i could do the work, she just lookconfused and in the end i just walked off.

Anyway i suppose the point is slightly missed, i wouldnt really want my gf to do something for me, and ive explained to her her presents are foil wrapped, and she aint getting a card, cos its about spending time with her. Not chucking money at thatchers england.

However, i have never heard a group of men bitching about how 'all' their bastard of a gf did for valentines day was take them to a chippy, and then pay their drinks on the night out and a taxi home... the evil bastards.

Whereas how often have we heard that from women... Im not going to chuck 60 quid on a night out to prove to her mates im not a twat. Whats annoying is women dont even have the idea flash across their minds. A nice valentines suprise from a girl is head for once.

But who knows, maybe in a few days we will be posting different things
