Punchbags are great fun and extremely good for improving fitness and upper body strength. Technique or not you'll get big improvements if you use it regularly. If you setup a routine where you work on different aspects of fitness/body during the week that'd probably be best. Eg Some cycling one day, weights another, bag another, you'd soon notice huge improvements.
As ya know I've been trying to do various bits of training every day and it's already making a big difference. You just need to put the time in. ____________________ Photos and that |

yea for cardio, you cant go wrong with a punchbag.
we did a test oneday, with a heart rate monitor, with running, rowing, cycling, swiming, cross trainer, skipping, punchbag, etc
punchbag increased heart rate the most.
do 3 minutes flat out, rest for 3 min, do this until you only need to rest for 2 minutes, and then till you only need to rest 1 minute. ____________________ My Bikes - - - Royal Enfield 500 with sidecar, VFR800, CBR600FX,

get some music playing, something with a fairly fast beat, and hit the bag to a rythm, whilst skipping to the beat.
At shoulder hight;
left, right, left hook, right, left, right hook.
can also do the same for lower down the punchbag.
get a speed bag too |
