This is what it is like to be hit by a car. Filmed from a helmet camera.

The actual impact reminds me very much of what my accident was like, although the car was coming towards me. But the actual impact and the launching through the air was very similar.

This video also shows that you need to expect the unexpected Shocked

I wouldn't mind getting knocked off if she came to rescue me Laughing

On a more serios note the girl that first stopped to help seemed really switched on and knew what she was doing with all the "talk to me" etc etc.. she seemed pretty switched on to how to deal with an accident...

Looking at it again and it looks like the rear right handside tyre blew? that causing the accident?

Props to the rider though, he looked for the gap and tried it. How many of us would have just panicked and gone in the side of the car?

Thats some good boobage too! Cool

Possibly, but it could have been the driver panic braking for the stationary/slowing traffic ahead.

You know that the bike isn't gonna fit through that gap, you must be getting ready to kiss yer ass good bye

He looked like he went 'floppy' and relaxed through the air, only thing to do, eh?

Were people trying to remove his helmet?[/img]

The car that swerved attempted to brake late for slowing traffic and locked the wheels up. Possibly he tried to steer at the same time, and lost control.

If you listen you hear the driver explaining himself.

It was only 3 days ago too! Sounds like she might be suffering from whiplash or something similar, poor girl. Honestly, had I seen that without the crash, I would have thought she would have made it and stopped in time. Just goes to show I have plenty to learn! Sad

edit: Just re-watched it, poor git didn't have a chance. Sad

yep, definitely a girl, you see her briefly after she takes her helmet off, kinda looks quite fit.

the guy in the white t-shirt is the one who was driving and you hear him say he braked and he swerved, rewatching the vid you can see he closes in on the car in front quite quickly.

glad she was fully armoured up and seemingly ok Thumbs Up don't think she could have done anything different to avoid the crash.

Or how many would have guaged that the right path would be cutoff, and take a chance at going around the left of the car as it spun...that's something that would have crossed my mind, but it all happens in the blink of an eye!

Still hope she was ok! Thumbs Up

quite amusing that the woman with big boobs was constantly telling her to lie down but she didn't want to. probably thinking, my camcorder's in the back and I don't wanna crush it, I don't care if I've just been in an accident Smile

Ouchy, that wasnt so bad really though, I was thinking it would have been better to go to the left aswell, but still I suppose you make your choice in that split second. Gotta remember though it looks more natural to go to the right on the film cos the cam is mounted on the right, wonder what it was like from her eye perspective, you reckon someone with maybe more experience would have gone to the left?
