Now those of us with Arai lids know that the visors can be a bit awkward to swap over. With Spring on the way it's time to whack on those black visors again.

I saw a thread over on www.cbr-forum.org.uk by CBRbiker (He did join BCF but I haven't seen him around for a while) with step by step instructions and pictures on how to swap your visor.

The ting with Arais is that you just need the 'knack'. The mechanism also seems to loosen up with time. The visors take seconds to change once you get used to it. But CBRbiker's guide will help those who have recently bought their first Arai and those who are still struggling.

Cool Thumbs Up

Took me about an hour to get the knack first time round. Afterwhich and ever since it takes about 15 seconds to change a visor over.

I know what you mean. The first time I changed mine it took ages, and I was cursing it after owning a Shoei and their incredibly simple mechanism.

Like you say, once you get used to it, it is very simple. Although, recently I did have a side pod fly across the room after just pulling up the little grey levers, so go easy.
