if its on an NSR it is the Rear Brake Lever Return Spring should be the same with any other bike...
also the microswitch for your rear brake light is either faulty or simply needs readjusting.. it could possibly have come out of its holding clip. If you have a good look at the microswitch (assuming its an NSR) you will see where it should fix, and also a head you can get pliers around to switch the 'biting point' for the light
with the rear break lever there should be two tiny holes around the midpoint of the lever... put one end of the spring in there, and then on the foot peg bracket you should find another hole.... pop it in there and voilla

I reckon that's a brake pedal spring off a GSXR 600 Srad.
Check out the innards if the brake light switch. They are prone to filling up with water and going rusty inside. Give it a clean and apply some copper grease to the sliding parts. Oh yes and put the spring back on the pedal. ____________________ JOIN IN THE BIGGEST RIDE-OUT OF 2007 here |
