What do you think Wink

Its a sports bike. The only thing that goes under the seat is the battery (on most) and under the rear hump/seat is normaly enough for the toolkit and a pack of fags (if that)

Knowing my luck I will be wrong lol.

Nope that's totally correct, the only helmet you could fit in there is the one that's attached to you. And it'd hurt when you catch it in the seat.

If he wants to secure his helmet on a bike I belive some have a hook under the pilion seat/ hump. That you basicly do your helmet strap up and hook in there then clamp the seat/hump over the strap.

And the only way they can get your helmet is to cut the straps rendering it useless. and not worth taking. Although I have found my mates use it as a place to hide crap in like empty crisp bags Laughing

I had a digital tyre pressure gauge in mine, went for ride, then realised that it had some how fallen out along the way.

Feck putting my wallet in there, always a little nervous with rucksack on. I'm paranoid that the zips are open or the straps will come undone. I must save up for a tank bag Smile

Aye, I've lost loads of stuff out my toolkit (it split so the stuff was loose under the seat) because it rattles out and falls onto the road Crying or Very sad

I was walking down my lane the other day and found 2 of my spanners - result Cool

Put it this way, the ZXR 4 can barely fit shit in it. If you want load carrying, get a pan euro or deauville. Having said that, the ZXR 250 has loads of space under the seat. Disklock + chain+ lock. It can fit 2 coke cans in there at a push and a rag.

Can't you stick the helmet on the pillion seat and secure it, strap it or whatever, then just leave it until u need it. Although looks a bit muppety if it's like "Hey baby want a ride? I've got a spare helmet here!"

Cause it's like you're using the bike to pull, which is a bit sad!

Laughing I could get a carton of ribena,a topic, the toolkit and a sponge under mine. Bike was crap anyway with a pillion, your mate wants to pull? Get a car, bikes are for riding, the only pulling done is by the chain. Neutral
