Well apart from the bike, second most expensive thing would be my gear. But obviously I buy petrol most frequently, which is normally only about £4.

Tyres probably. Last year it was about a set a month through out summer for £170 a set.

Hoping to cut it down to under £100 a month by using part worn tyres this year.

Bought two pairs of Sidi boots within the last 6 months. Vertigo's for warmer weather, and Black Rain's for wet weather and commuting.

Apart from that, petrol and insurance etc

Also planning to get some two piece leathers ready for the summer, cos my textiles are starting to get too warm

Petrol, and this week 220€ for a new l/h fairing, 40€ for a new light switch, and 70 fucking euros for the bloody stickers!! And thats without the 16% IVA tax thing. Not good for a skint 14 year old Crying or Very sad

Going to rallies.

I reckon between the 2 of us we spend at least £200 a weekend including tickets, petrol, food and sundry other items that have to be bought. We generally do 2-3 a month from April to September.

Lately I been trying to buy the right protective gear, I got the boots, I got the leathers, I got the gloves, I got the helmet, I just need a back protect ( getting the ones with chest protector on them ) and then im pretty much sorted.

Definately tyres. Use loads of tyres, just getting the second set fitted to my KLE500 this year and the GPZ is due a new rear in a short while.

Not as bad as when I had my MZ though, it used to eat tyres at a frightening rate.

Quite a lot of oil too.

Recently I think I've spent as much as the bikes worth on parts.

Chain & Sprockets
Reconditioned Engine
Braided Hoses
Stainless Expansion chambers

Including Tyres etc I've probably spent a grand in 6 months. Rolling Eyes

rear tyres which arent cheap

tons of little things as i restore/repair/replace fastners, electrical bits etc etc.

Just bought an electronic instrument cluster as im fed up of bicycle speedo and rev counter combo.

I own three bikes, one I use most of the year, the other two I use
just now and again. The main bike gets a new set of tyres, chain
and sprocket kit, one set of rear shoes and about 4 sets of front
pads per year.

Apart from all the cash I spend on fuel I spend a hell of a lot on OIL
mainly because I do so many miles in a year and I change my oil
every 3500/4000 miles.

I only buy protective jackets and trousers when needed but I do get
about 2 pairs of boots a year. As for Helmets, I haven't bought a new
helmet in 3 years so this year I'm treating myself to a new one.
