Personally I stick with Sidi...
Vertigo for the warmer weather (I have the black & grey ones), and Black Rain for the wet.
I tend to go for function rather than looks, but would advise that if you go for Sidi, you should try them on 1st, cos their sizes tend to be on the small side ____________________ 1st bike (Sept'06 - May'10) : 1991 GPZ500S / Current bike (since Nov 2009) : 2003 Suzuki Bandit 600N

Have a look at the Spidi XPD-5 boots. I had them before. Really nice looking and very well armoured. Think they go for about £139. ____________________ Honda NSR125R -> Suzuki GSXR400R GK76a -> Kawasaki ZX636 B1H -> Honda CBR400RR NC29 -> Nothing |

Well, Sidi's are good, but a little slim on the width of your foot, so they squeeze your toes and pad, Oxtar are ok, but hard on the sole for walking.
I'd go for Alpinestar, mx's they are well padded, all usual Armour and removable toe sliders, i can ride in mine for ever and feel comfortable, which is rare for racing boots, and walk around in them too, at shows and bike nights...... Good colours and after 18 months they still look good as they clean up great.... at £ 149.99 takes a lot to match them in that price band, and as you own an Alpinestar jacket too.....
But thats what i think, go down your local shop, try on loads and spend a few minutes in them walking around the shop, ask for a fresh pair as the ones on the shelf would of been tried on loads... happy hunting dude, let us all know how you got on...

Got a pair of Alpinestars SMX-R ones. £170, very comfortable and pretty light. ____________________ Go back to bed - You have no rights - "Streetfighters ~ Mainstream motorcycling's crackwhore sister." |

Worn my sidi vertebre2 (the older ones) for 2years pretty much every day, wind, rain, snow, hail whatever, these have stayed suppriseingly watertight (never had it comeing right through at least) warm enough (down to -5) and comfy, even for walking about in town (noit the best mind)
You will need to try them on defenately! These are 10's and my normal shoe size is 8... must be an italian thing
Will be gettingsome of the black rain sidis if these ever give up, they aren't doing bad though considering the hammer they get ____________________ >RidingSkills<->Tech Tips<->MyBikes< |

Spend a little extra and get Daytonas. Build quality is second to none, after sales service is good, the boots are beautiful ____________________ Just like a real biker, but smaller |

Vertebra 2, sidi.
Do the job, tarty enough, have toe sliders, but arent over the top tat.
Mine have lasted me over 3 years of abuse and a couple of crashes
(waits for someone to say the linings compressed now and they arent as good ) ____________________ China traffic/travel bike vid - When I make a sweeping statement, please add the word 'statistically' in to the sentence before you bitch...
