 |
|
I will post on the FZR archives tomorrow but hope a few people here may be able to help me (kickstart as usual )
Basically i would like to know what the standard sprocket sizes are (front and rear) and the standard chain size. I know its 520 but not sure on how many links. I have a 44t 520 rear sprocket, not sure on the front but i want to buy a chain and there is 520 525 530 etc and im not sure what it means.
Also does anyone have a 1wg wiring diagram? I have a 3tj and its slightly different.
Thanks. |

Hi
Not sure on the sprocket sizes / chain lengths. I would just cheat and buy a kit!
The 520 / 525 / 530 bit is the size of the chain. They all have a 5/8" pitch (ie, distance from the centre of one pin to the next). Difference is the width of the roller / sprockets.
520 is lighter and will not last as long, but not really an issue for track use. In a suitable grade should easily be strong enough.
All the best

OK thanks kickstart.
I have heard of people using a 525 chain on standard sprockets. |
