Zx636 £168 + £1000 !!!!!! Shocked Sick
Shocked Shocked

Looks like either a gsxr then ! Smile

BTW Are sv650's cheaper ? And are the 0% deals any good ?

Whats your age etc mate? I just went from a CBR600 that was costing me £300 TPFT to a SV650s K6 that cost me an extra £250 to go to fully comp. Thats on the 0% deal. It seems an ok deal - theres no max deposit and you can add any extras to the finance if you wish, over a mximum of 36 months.

Im 24, have 0 no claims thanks to a lying bitch and Ive had my licence coming up 2 years.

Look at changing your company altogether, that's astonishingly high. I assume you're keeping the policy on the same level of cover, TPFT maybe?

TPFT, I'm paying £460 a year, on a Thundercat, which is only 2 groups lower than all of those. And I'm 18 with 1NCB, 2 months with full licence.

Load of bollocks, there is no "best" insurer as all quotes are tailored to the individual. I'm sure many people agree. Thumbs Up

Yep. CIA were nothing special for me at all, probably coming in around the £700 mark. They couldn't touch my final quote.

27 years old, from cf48 area.
milliage est £2k
loads of excess (£200)
Full licence (Half way through restriction Wink )
2 no claims
1 Sp30
No pillions etc...
Kept on private property

9 years no claims with car

Sorry nc30 was £201 tpft.

This is weird, checked out on their website last night as a new customer and i was getting quotes of between £280-£500 for these bikes.
It must be the policy im with ,in bennets, They did say before that the r6 was group 20 ! The policy with bennets is with EQUITY RED STAR .

I'd phone around if I were you, that premium sounds a bit of a joke.

I'm 23, moved from an RVF400 which I valued at £4000 - cost me £215tpft to my Blade, valued at £2750, now paying £320tpft.

Quotes for 2 year old 600 sport reps were about the same when shopping around.

No NC discount, DAS in Jan so less than a yr on a full licence, garaged,
data-tagged and upto 20K miles per year on my £3K W reg XJR13SP also covered to ride any bike with owners permission of course Wink

Cost just over £230 in the end with Equity Redstar plus an extra £20 for paying monthly

With age comes cheap insurance, although it seems that the line keeps being moved further away from young riders every few years, when I started out 21 was the magic age group, now it seems to be nearer 30.

I said best overall, because they didn't give one lowest quote, and gave 3 out of 8(i think) of the best quotes. I'm not going to say they are the best, as that would just be stupid, but i thought best overall seemed a better way to put it. Certain insurers notmally have a different market section to which they appeal. Many insurers will utterly bugger younger riders, but others will deliberately lower their quotes in an effort to get them to remain loyal to the insurer.

SV's will be cheaper as they are group 10, the others you tried are all group 14/15. Theft on SV's is a lot lower, plus as it's a Vtwin it has a lower hp figure which fools the insurance companies into thinking its not in the same league Wink. To be fair it's not, but having the same torque as any supersports 600 means it punches well above it's weight.

I bought mine on 0%. Paid £1000 deposit then its £150 a month for just 2 years. Effectively i paid the full rrp of £4600, but I got official suzuki accessories of a hugger, belly pan and seat cowl thrown in instead of money off the price.

I just got a quote of £298 for TPFT on my ZXR4, Very Happy.

That's at 23 with 1NCB, 1 year holding a full licence and with 2 claims, one theft and one a non-fault accident. That included breakdown cover, not only here but european and it also allowed me to ride any other bike with the owner's permission, obviously only with TPO cover mind.

Just goes to show it pays to shop around a bit, my renewal with eBike was about £500 odd quid, so £298 is quite a saving.

I agree, i've just past 30 and insurance prices aren't a problem anymore.

I used ran a tpo policy for a ZX7R last year and that the renewal for that this year is £93 Mr. Green

I think i'm paying £350 fully comp on my ZX10R
