I wonder how well he'll survive in Jail. Looks a bit podgy in that pic so I should imagine he'll be someone's bitch after a few weeks...

"Oi, Prince. You're in with me tonight."

I think he'll be fine in nick, unfortunatley.

I suspect there'll be loads of Muslim crims to look after him.

He looks like a very swollen little ferret doesn't he.

Maybe he'll spend some of the time in the prison gym. Still I wouldn't fancy a fight with him in a prison cell, I bet he can still throw a usefull punch.

I think it's fair. He was taking the p!ss in his supercar and some other poor bastad has to pay the consequences.[/quote]

Oh, wicked, I've always thought he was a tit.

Tough luck on the fella he hit though, sounds pretty nasty.

I used to go into his Mum and Dad's corner shop when I was a young 'un, he was a gobby little back then as well as in boxing. Not so gobby now are we you fat waste of space?

Looks like he's going to be battered around the 'ring' in prison now isn't he.

Whoah, my evil twin!

Noone serves the full sentence, regardless of their financial situation. Any sentence less than 4 years means that, barring you murdering a dozen people on the inside, you are released on license after half the sentence has expired. Anything over 4 years and you do porridge for around 2/3rds of the actual tariff.

There are also other ways to knock a few weeks or months off the total, usually involving tagging and the like.

The verdict is a bit of a joke then.

Speaking of jokes, where are the ones about being battered around the ring Wink

Im surprised at how fat he is.

He could have said sorry, but it seems that he is more focussed on the consequences for him and probably just puts the accident down to bad luck. Lets hope the injured bloke gets lots of compensation. I cant see why he wouldnt. It wont make up for it but at least it will be something.

I brought the road up on google map

https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=Ringinglow+Road,+Norton,+Sheffield,+South+Yorkshire,+S10&ll=53.347323,-1.562634&spn=0.034944,0.107632&om=1

it is a nice straight road so i can understand how it happened.

Ive seen quite a few dodgy overtakes by bikers but they dont take up so much of the road.

Funnily enough Ringinglow Road is on my regular 'route' if I go for a bimble out to the Peaks (these pics are from about half a mile up the road). Sure it's straight but it sure as hell isn't flat. It's an unclassifed back road, bumpy as hell, and has at least one blind crest on it, though I don't know exactly where the crash happened.
It's an easy road to put your foot down on (or equivalent) but I can also see how you could easily get out of control on it if you take the piss.

Is there a pub along that road? I think I know which one it is, it's really really bumpy and has lovely views, if it's the one I'm thinking of it has a sharp left at the end of a long straight, and would be very tempting to thrash down it.

I think you're on the wrong one - could you mean this one?

https://tinyurl.com/q3s8p

I've never been down there so no idea if there's a pub on it - I must make a point of going that way one day Smile

Don't know how you knew that, but yes, that's the one.

The pub in question:

https://www.sheffieldpub.co.uk/pubs/viewpub.php?id=460

There is a great view but it is a touch overpriced. We must go there on a rideout Very Happy Some nice roads round that area.
