FINALLY... seven weeks after buying it, I managed to get insurance, a charged battery and a working alarm all at the same time, so I thought I'd better give work a miss ( Shocked ) and get out there before the weather turns again...

A gentle ride around the Peaks was just the job Smile Thumbs Up

How does it ride compared to the bandit?

It's like riding a mountain bike compared to the Bandit. Very light and easy to move around (I won't say throw around because I'm a wuss on the road Smile) The handling is far superior in my opinion. The back brake is a bit cack though.

It's a bit different to an SV Smile

The riding position is very neutral compared to the SV, and that's hardly extreme. I've only had one ride, in perfect conditions, so it's a bit early to pass judgement, but I did enjoy it compared to the Bandit. But then I never really bonded with that bike, whereas I've always wanted one of these Smile

You'll find you can chuck it around to your heart's content, it's got a WSB winning frame design and you'lll not be able to overwhelm it. You'll touch your cans and footpegs down fairly easily unless you raise the ride heaight, or fit high level cans and rearsets.

This is my current ride . . .

Ah, student life. Should be able to take the entire summer off then (if he hasn't already been given it off officially, anyway).

Not quite... unfortunately us hard working postgrads get 30 days a year, which is almost like a real job... Smile

Look, I've just read your web page. With regard to your postgrad studies, it says:

The precise area of research is yet to be finalised, so my time is currently taken up by reading up on the subject.

Sounds tricky!

Anyway, I know the deal. Done it myself. Wink
