Dipped beam headlight during test (mine does not come on automatically). yay or nay? Thumbs Up

When i took my test on the 2nd of May a few weeks ago the Examiner told me to turn mine on before i set off. My Instructor also mentioned to keep the lights on dipped aswell.

I'm not sure if this is universal at every test centre but i hope it helped shed some light on your question. Wink

i doubt you would get a minor for it but makes it easier on the whole for car to see you so i always keep mine on Thumbs Up

Good luck guys. You'll feel like you're going to pass out when you're waiting to get going, time flies incredibly fast. Then once you're on the bike, everything is forgotten and you're left with a massive amount of concentration to do your best.

Just one thing, i dont want to be the kill joy, but take it easy these next few days. They can be the most dangerous, especially as you are still only on a low powered bike, but now have those L plates off, car drivers may get the wrong idea.
