Not considered a tankbag/tailpack?

Bike looks lush, I don't think I'd be so quick to sell up for a car.

have considerd a tank bag but its the traveling thats a pain, ive done like 2k miles already just going to work and back and its a shame when it rains i dont wanna use it cus it really is in nice condition and deserves to be tucked up in a garage rather then on the motorway gaining miles and filth

seriously would keep it but cant afford to buy and pay insurance on a car aswell

Thumbs Up

You can get a reliable car for £500. If you're happy with it being a bit of a tatty thing.

I've got an E reg MG Metro. Only has 35k on the clock, but it never misses a beat. Only just replaced the (original) clutch. The rest of the engine is original and it runs fine. The A series engine is pretty touch!

Started first time in sub zero temperatures while FI cars in the street just struggles. God bless manual chokes!

Ok then be a cock, but you could ofcourse look on

https://www.parkers.co.uk/pricing/used_bike/valuation.aspx?deriv=4779&plate=64

I could put mine up for sale for more but doesnt mean it would sell.

Also more pictures are required, both sides of the bike would be helpfull to potential buyers, also condition of all the consumables (brake pads, tyres etc)

And look at ebay completed listings

https://search-completed.ebay.co.uk/zx6r-zx-6r-zx6-zx-6-zx600-zx-600-zx600r-zx-600r-ninja-600-ninja600_Motorcycles-Scooters_W0QQcatrefZC6QQcoactionZcompareQQcoentrypageZsearchQQcopagenumZ1QQfisZ2QQfromZR10QQfrtsZ50QQfsooZ2QQfsopZ1QQga10244Z10425QQsacatZ422QQsaprchiZQQsaprcloZQQsatitleZQ28zx6rQ2cQ20zxQ206rQ2cQ20zx6Q2cQ20zxQ206Q2cQ20zx600Q2cQ20zxQ20600Q2cQ20zx600rQ2cQ20zxQ20600rQ2cQ20ninjaQ20600Q2cQ20ninja600Q29

see how much they SELL for

Thumbs Up 'Ok then be a cock'!!!

Thanks for that mate Rolling Eyes

like i said every thing is in good condition tyres/pads etc dont need replacing for some while theres nowt wrong with puting a bike up for sale to what ever price you want to try and sell it for - you might /might not sell it tho, obviously i wont sell it for that but thats a starting price and like most people i'll obviously drop the price if some1's intrested which ive had people intrested from this site so am i still a cock

Why, why why, why bother??????????

Why do you have to ruin someones sale????

If its priced too high, he wont get many bites, which should tell him its priced to high etc........ the power of market forces??????

Nobody needs a clever dick ruining a sale. Now unfortunately for the seller, you and I have ruined this post but i get really pissed off with people like you! Seriously mate stop pissing on peoples fire!! Its not clever and its rarely appreciated. Rolling Eyes

Yes you are. If you think your doing a great service to potential buyers, your not, as a savvy buyer should do their own research.

FYI, in this case, £2950 is a very reasonable price for a mint low milage bike, of course there are cheaper bikes out there but i would pay a bit more and get a good bike rather than pay less and have to shell out later down the line. I would know this as i own one too and last week saw one example in a bike shop advertised at £3599 with shabby fairings and over 20k on the clock. Which would you rather have?

Frankly what your doing is rude, disrespectful and a great disservice to the seller.

I could put my bike up for sale tomorrow and ask £35,000 for it, doesnt mean anyone will pay that.

FACT is book price IS £2500 (give or take) dealers put them out at about £3000 if not a little less but then you get warrenty etc.

Bad ones are worth nearer 2K, this one looks like a good example so It would be valued at about £2500 NOT £3000, only that much in a dealer.

Its not rude, its fact. I have had the same done to me by the person selling the bike so am returning the favour.

dealership:

right j&s have several j1 /j2/636's in there show room, mine is just as good condition as some of them on show if not better with lower milage, oh and guess what they have a j1 on sale for 3499 Rolling Eyes

anyways fuk book prices as nobody hardly goes by them wen selling unless a dealership, looking on biketrader theres several J models in the region of 3k plus private sales so i guess i'd just stick by the price tag ive put down
