I was stuck in traffic the other day, there was no way I could filter past, road too narrow etc etc. Anyway, I am stopped along a shop and this guy shouts out to me who was painting "hey you look good in all matching blue" Shocked and surprised I just replied "yes well it goes with my eyes" lol!
Does anyone else get any comments about their bike or clothes just thrown at them out of the blue like this whilst out riding, TBH I was a tad embarrassed Embarassed

I sometimes get the "nice bike mate" or "I used to have one of those etc" comments Neutral more often than that its a group of chavs gesturing for me to "get the wheel up" Rolling Eyes

Usually the 'get the wheel up' comment, or inviting me to do a burnout or whatever.

I just usually rev my bike nice and loud and point at my ears like saying I can't hear them, then i ride off, lol!

Lets see. 3 years ago when i was the owner of an Aprilia Habana 125 (the scooter with the wide Harley style bars). I was sitting at some traffic lights on my way to work at 7:30am.
I heard a voice saying, "Hey. Hey you".
I looked at the guy sitting in the car to my left. He was just sitting there tapping his fingers on his steering wheel. I looked at the guy in the car to my right. Same thing.
Again "Hey you. Ya fuckin faggot. Sittin there on your gay bike. Yeah you. Want me to come over there and kick fuck out of ya? Ya fuckin gay bastard."
I looked again to my left to see some bloke standing on the pavement leaning against a wall with a workbag at his feet. I assume he was waiting on a lift to work.
I couldn't believe this. I mean, it's 7:30am. How sad is this guys life.lol.
I'd love to roll past him in the morning on my new black R6 Razz
I wonder what he'd have to say to that.lol.
I got into work and told all my work mates about it. We were laughin all day at the thought of this idiot Very Happy

A few Months ago while sitting at some lights on my Ducati Monster, a guy crossed the road in front of me and just said "Nice bike, that os a bloody nice bike".

Last week riding slowly in traffic on the R6, some kids shouted "Keep'er lite" Razz

Another comment we had was when we were both parked up in town was from a lady walking by with her husband/boyfriend and we heard her say "aw how sweet matching helmets and bikes" but in a sarcastic manner, I just looked over and laughed at her, needed her eyes testing IMO as totally different bikes just happen to be same colour thats all Laughing
Its amazing how many people do stop and chat to you mind about your bike and so on, bikers are a different breed if you ask me, so nice most of them, you wouldnt get that with cagers.

Another time i took a ride up the Antrim coast road here in northern Ireland. Great road. Anyway. It was around 8pm and the sun was just starting to go down. I pulled into a little pic nic area by the sea for a rest. As i was about to leave, an old man and woman came walking towards me. I got the impression they were going to talk to me so i waited a second. I ended up talking to them for over 30 minutes. They were in their 80's and told me they use to travel around England and Scotland years ago on a little 125 just after they got married. Really nice old couple. Something i wont forget i'm sure. That'll probably be me one day talking to some young bloke on a bike.lol

Hmm, Just last week i had some chavs shout "Giz a shot of ur bike" Rolling Eyes

Was on the norton (daddys Twisted Evil ) at a set of traffic lights and some guy to my right said "its nice to see good old brit bikes on the road, that sounds beautiful" had a little chat to him, he was a little suprised when i said i was 18 and its my old mans.
The lights changed and i blatted off Thumbs Up

There is this really old guy with a stick on a main road that wonders up and down with some sort of war barret on his head that gives me the thumbs up everyday without fail on my way to work, wonder if i should stop and speak to him, hes done it nearly everyday for the past 6 months.

In my three weeks of owning a Monster, I've had one wolf whistle (get your eyes examined, Mr White Van Man! Laughing ), one 'nice bike' (from a cyclist) and quite a few 'do you know your brake light's constantly on?' (from other bikers).

I get a fair few comments from young and old alike, only occasionally while riding mostly while parking up or getting on that people will come and talk to me and in my experience the old guys are the best, always a nice chat to be had with the old timers.

i was waiting at a set of lights in town next to a pedestrian crossing when a young lady walked past pushing her son in a pushchair.

he must have been about 3 and he was shouting mum,mum look at that bike.

when the lights changed i saw that she had waited for me to turn right and had her son turned to face the road.

i turned and gave him the knod and a wave.

good times.. good times..

My ponytail hangs down at the back of my helmet and I get the usual "Are you a boy or a girl?"

I always reply "What do I sound like?" (My voice isn't high).

And once a chav said "I donno"

I mainly get comments about the bike when parking up etc.

However, with the ninja stealth look going on, it does turn a few heads admiring the coolness Cool
