fuel pressure

hey everyone hows it going? alrite my question is i have a 94 suzuki RF600r and im getthing really bad fuel flow everthing is clean now it brings me to the fuel pump. what psi should i be running. that is my question. thanks guys

If it runs carbs, then I believe about 2 or 3 psi. For fuel injection it would be alot more, but I'm not sure what.

EFI is about 45 psi usually, as Barry said carbs are usually fed at 2-3 psi, sometimes a little more.

Would a 94 bike have a fuel pump with carbs? Thought it would be gravity fed.

Depends on the bike to be honest.

If your feeding a single carb, or maybe two, then gravity fed is usually sufficient, but depends on the bike really.

But feeding a bank of 4 will require a fuel pump, gravity feed will never supply enough fuel, especially at full throttle.

My Zephyr and GPz are both gravity feed 4 cylinder 750's with vacuum fuel taps. You can supply as much fuel as you like by gravity, just depends on the bore of the pipe, where the fuel tank is, and where the carbs are as to whether a pump is needed. Bikes have had fuel pumps since long before 1994.
