Well picked this up today in the forthinking hope i pass my test on the 8th (i will pass i will)

1999 SV650, 12990 or so miles on the clock and is FAB!!

Been on the back of it on the way home cos mate rode it for me, n been out for 20 min just (naughty me ) and really like it, so much easier to ride then my XT125 n lots faster teehee.

Nice, much prefer the unfaireds to the faireds. Good luck on your test - treat yourself to a nice loud pipe once you've passed.

ye faired has sammler less responsive turning due to different frame n the angle is different of the rake (think thats the right term) but they look sexy unfaired, changing the oil rad n cooling rad grill soon to ionised blue ones to match bike n getting SV heel plates too hehe

The only thing different with the two is that the s turns faster due to the rake of the headstock being steeper. Also the sproket sizes are different for accel and top end. S models over all id say are beeter but id love to swap it for an unfaired and bore out the engine to a 750 .

I can asure that this bike is in fine running order. Sound good too for only just a slip on. Didnt have any problems keeping up with a proper sv .
