If i was to fit an end can with "Not For Road Use" stamped on the can - meaning its a race can,
But then fit a universal baffle kit inside it to make it quiet enough for the road.
Would the MOT station fail it because it has "Not For Road Use" stamped on it, despite the fact that it is actually quiet enough for the road?
Or would they pass it as it blatently has a baffle inside it? ____________________ CBT Aug '03 ... Gilera GSM 50 ... Honda NSR 125 Aug '04 ...

The new MOT rule is that any aftermarket (or system) fitted, need to be no louder than the stock system.
But, I think you may find that with Not for Road Use written on it they may fail it.
Phone and ask them. ____________________ ZXR750R (M2) - For the road.

Its not fitted yet, im just having a think about whats going to happen when it arrives.
Trying to get all the plans up and in the air now so that when it comes to the crunch and i get the time - i can just get on and do what ever is needed. ____________________ CBT Aug '03 ... Gilera GSM 50 ... Honda NSR 125 Aug '04 ...
