just a general enquiry, recently bought it, and not been as blown away as was expected to be, its fairly standard stuff really, and not particularly gripping, despite good graphics

anyone played it, completed it, rate it?

I was very dissapointed in it.. i couldn't connect with whatever story line was supposed to be there.. and it felt like they were saying "Hey we know the story and endless corridor shootouts suck.. but check out these lighting effects dude! they're pretty! ooo000oooh"

The word I would use to rate it is "meh". The multiplayer was kinda fun though.

I played it recently and thought nothing special of it

Played it all the way through and thought it was pretty good. The Quake games have never really been about storyline. If you play it expecting a compelling storyline you'll be sorely dissapointed
