Who had to be British and moan about the hot weather?

That turned the nice sunny beaches down south all grey and dull?

Who made the dry grippy roads all slimy and wet?

Who's turned me into a trouser and shirt wearing worker when on hot days I get to wear shorts?

Come on, own up! Razz

Yes, they sure did. Plus, riding slower as it's raining will mean you get more miles to the gallon (bike luggage will get wet though)! Razz

No, you're just moaning bastards who can't hack any change in temperature. "Oooh, ooh, it's too hot.... oooh bloody hell, it's too cold now. I think I'll stay in bed today mum".

Made work alot harder this morning, suddenly had alot more alarms from the south, mostly the Sussex area.

Riding to work on Sunday night was fun. Just as the lightning started here in Manchester. Proper soaked. Loved it.

Was a bit dodgy in places though, especially Chester road where the lights were out...

Rick.

How dare you, a true southern boy's mum would be well aware of the temperature change: she'd have called her son's place of work already, informing them he would not be able to work in such conditions and would have a cup of tea by her son's bedside, ready for when he wakes.

I moan about it being too hot. Because it is too hot!

I really dont enjoy sweating like a pig whilst trying to sleep. I will also moan when it rains, because it's rank miserable and depressing.

So, in conclusion, somewhere in between the extremes and it's fine.

That seems fair enough doesnt it?!

Laughing

Spoken like a true Brit. We don't have any extreme weather in the UK!

The main problem is that our weather does change quit a bit: the average person will climatise to 'hot' in a couple of weeks but we rarely see that level of consistency so we never get a chance to get used to it, meaning it feels 'extreme'.
