You don't have to get your knee down to hang off.

It's often possible to get bits of the bike down not going that fast at all on some bikes when not hanging off, especially with suspension not set up right.

Personally, I'd quite worry about getting my pegs down and not wearing protective trousers, as I'd expect to end up on me arse at some point if I kept doing it.

When I had a VFR my pegs were as well, the VFR lacks ground clearance in a major way, really unsettled the bike at cadwell when the peg touched down on the fastest left hander, probably about 90mph. Shocked

It will end it tears... the pegs on a pivot so it will swing up, but the moment it's unable to pivot or the exhaust touches down the bike becomes in effect a tricycle. We all know what happens to a tricycle when going round a bend to fast, the rear outer wheel lifts off the deck.... the snag is the inner most 'wheel' on your bike is the peg and they don't offer much grip Wink

See what you mean, that's a really shallow angle on those pegs of Sanchez's :

Now now boys and girls Laughing

Just kidding

That is a sweet looking arse on the lil ZXR, not as square as I imagined. How did you make the bracket / hanger to alter the angle of the zorst?

My exhaust hits the ground before my pegs.... Confused

(One reason I prefer left hander... mmm Cloverleaf Very Happy )

Definately time to start shifting your weight about a bit. Just start by shifting your arse across the seat, there's no need to stick your leg out for knee down.

Twin tail lights for teh win! The whole exhaust system was made from scratch by an engineering firm, and the bracket is ingeniously fashioned from a strip of random aluminium, with holes to accommodate my different sized clamps for various cans Laughing

You can see how high the system is raised in this pic...

I'm no expert but I believe that when you pass the max lean angle you will be sent back in time to a parrallel dimension which will rip a hole in the space time continuum creating a black hole which will suck everyone out of existence. Shocked
