My friend got dumped by text at midnight on Saturday night, after a 2 year relationship....

I know technology is great, but come on - why hide behind a text, its soooo low....

Nothing to do with the technology, the dumper was just a coward.

Because you can't kick a text in the balls and rip it's eyeballs out and do that crying thing?

Or... some people are f*cking cowards.

And because he can switch off the phone and not let her get closure on the whole situation...find out the reasons...nothing!

I do feel sorry for her...

I like the way everyone assumed it was a guy that did the dumping Laughing .

Yea, it's not a nice way to do it. Works both ways though, alot of people will be together now that wouldn't be without technology. It's much easier (too easy) to talk to people through MSN/Txts than having to actually speak to someone.

Rick.

Didn't bonny_ricardo do a dumping via MSN chat something or other? , that said its not as bad as a text as with MSN chat you can ask why and he was nice enough to give us a transcript.

My friend got dumped by text after 5 years together. I guess it's just easier than having to sit face to face, because then you have to see the hurt being caused by your actions.

It's a very harsh and cowardly thing to do .....

I dumped someone in a text once. Embarassed

I was 15 and we'd only been going out for 3 or 4 months though. I do feel quite bad about it now.

Exactly, I mean, when I split up with an old flame about 6 or 7 years ago, I at least had the guts to call her Confused and speak to her, and as I felt a bit guilty I even remaind on the phone, with it neatly wedged between my head and the pillow for another 6 hours, until I woke up in the morning. Laughing

Thumbs Up
